Farnborough is located in Hampshire, UK. The squadron was formed there on 13 May 1912. In those days
it was a grass airfield and one of the first bases of the embryonic Royal Flying Corps (RFC). Nowadays it is better known
as the home of the Royal Aircraft Establishment and the site of the bi-annual SBAC Air show. |
