Reunion 2010 - Sort of!

crest

Whilst the Association previously committed to arranging annual reunions with the intention of varying the venue year-by-year to different parts of the country it has proven devilish difficult to achieve and, hands up, quite beyond the limited resources of the Association to organise.  (An exception being the Jaguar element who have been quite successful in maintaining contact and indeed had a splendid get-together in Kent in May of this year so it's not all bad news).

However, for the wider II(AC) community, it has been a case of maintaining the aim of holding a reunion on each 5th-year anniversary of the Squadron's formation at the Squadron's current home which will be hosted by the Squadron (operational commitments pending).  The next such gathering will be the auspicious 100th Birthday in May 2012.

That being said there is the possibility of an impromptu gathering this year (2010) at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held at RAF Marham on Thursday 12th August.  The AGM has been arranged to coincide with the RAF Marham Families Day and all attendees at "our" meeting in the morning are welcome to stay on and enjoy the events that have been planned for the station event in the afternoon.  So the invitation goes out to the paid-up members of the Association to attend the AGM and to remain for a few hours in the company of Squadron members past and present.

n.b. It will be required for previous notifications and authentications to be provided in order to allow secure access to the station.

Post your details - Name; Car make/model/Reg. and Colour - to (make Subject - AGM/Reunion 2010) and the information will be passed on to RAF Marham Security in order for you to be processed on the day without undue delay.
