Sqn Ldr "Mitch" Mitchell was the Boss at the historic point in the Squadron's history when WW2 came to an end in Europe and
peace was declared in May 1945. Flying the iconic VS Spitfire at the time it is our gain that Mitch retained some pictures taken
at that time and has graciously forwarded them to the Association so that they may be published. Also provided are examples of
cartoons produced by one of the aircrew on the squadron at that time. Enjoy!
