Don't tell the wife but some of the best of times was whenever the squadron went on detachment to strut their stuff in
foreign fields and we were 'forced' to go away and demonstrate just how good we were to other nations.
However, foreign fields as far as RAF Laarbruch was concerned could be another NATO base a few 100 kms away and this was often the
case when the Jaguars went visiting.
Here's a few pictures of a couple of such trips. The first few commemorates the aircraft participating in TAM'78 at RAF Wildenrath;
