The Netheravon Detachment (Concentration Camp)

In June 1914 the squadron moved from its base near Montrose in Scotland to travel south to Salisbury Plain there to participate in what was called "The Concentration Camp", a title which had none of the connotations of 20 years later.  This was to be a series of exercises involving various squadrons acting as elements of a greater battle order.  This album is a series of pictures of their time at Netheravon.  (Credit to II(AC) Sqn Archives)
