A busy time for the squadron which saw it enter the conflict equipped with a pedestrian
monoplane and ending the period of hostility whilst operating the ultimate thoroughbred. A few
changes of model in between the two coupled with "exciting times" meant that many stunning pictures were
captured during the 6 years of war; from Hawkinge in Kent to the northern German plain.
